It Begins...
The Empire of Dower was always a peaceful land that worked together with Pokemon day in and day out. The people of the Empire were simple people. Though there was still the rich and poor, the people worked together to keep the land healthy and flourishing. To protect the people and insure that everyone, including the poor, was safe, the Empire created military rankings that required people and their Pokemon to grow stronger each and every day.
It had been like this for centuries. In fact, nothing ever changed. No outer land ever invaded or visited the Empire. No humans have ever invented items using electricity other than the Pokeballs. (No one from the Empire even understood where the Pokeball came from). Whenever someone tried to leave the Empire, they always returned without memory of where they were or where they went. Some could be gone for years and still return the same way. The few inventors that exited Dowr always seemed to vanish or die at an early age. With them went all of there belongings and research. It was as if the land its self was locked in time.
For many years the people of Dowr ignored these odd facts about their land. They were happy and content with the peaceful life they had. It wasn’t until the birth of the last Prince that it was questioned. The Prince was obsessed with helping the people advance. He believed that there was much more that people could achieve. Much more they could learn about pokemon and the land around them. He wanted to go beyond the elementary schools and build Colleges and Universities. He even went as far as asking his parents to found a research center. Much to the princes dislike, the Emperor refused. He believed that it would anger the Pokemon Gods.
Not willing to give up, the Prince built the research center in secret. There, the people who wanted to learn more could. Sadly, the center did not last long. Only five months after its creation, a huge fire engulfed the center, burning down everything and anyone inside. The Prince immediately blamed his father for the fire, claiming that he was holding the Empire back on purpose. The Emperor on the other hand, denied burning the center down and claimed it was Pokemon Gods who put an end to it.
Enraged, the Prince declared war against his father, claiming that he would take the throne and help it’s people advance. So it began, the Prince and a handful of followers left to the outskirts of the Empire to build up an army. All who supported the Prince were declared enemies of the Empire and made outlaws as well.
Now it’s up to you. Do you support the Prince and wish to help him take over the Empire? Perhaps you support the Emperor in keeping with the old ways? Maybe you wish to stay out of the war as long as you possibly can. The choice is yours.
Where in this Chaos do you fall?
