Emperor and Empress (Think of him as the Pokemon Master) The Emperor is the ruler of Dowr and has the final say on anything that happens to the Empire. It is assumed that he gives all of his commands to the Imperial Commander who then executes those commands. It is said that the Emperor is given an ancient Pokemon from the pervious Emperor. This pokemon is rumoured to be one of the most powerful Dragon pokemon with in the world. However, it has not been seen or used for centuries. Many have doubts that the ancient Dragon pokemon exists, but none have been able to get past the Imperial Commander to challenge the Emperor. By law, anyone who wants to challenge the Emperor to a Pokemon battle must first get through the Imperial Commander.
Though the Empress has no real power, she can still command anyone under the Imperial Commander to do her bidding. However, any command she gives can be overpowered by both the Emperor and Imperial Commander.
Pokemon Levels:Max 90 Number of Positions: 1 Emperor, 1 Empress Acquire Position: This Position can not be taken unless the entire Empire is over thrown.
Imperial Commander (Think of him as the Pokemon Champion) Though the Emperor is the Ruler of all Dowr, the Imperial Commander tends to be the one everyone takes orders from. He is the most powerful Pokemon trainer within the Region, second only to the Emperor himself. He is the leader of all the Armies within Dowr and commands the Pokelords. What the Imperial Commander says, goes, unless the Emperor says otherwise. He is the one who appoints the Pokelords to their lands while he controls the Empires Capital.
Pokemon Levels: Max 80 Number of Positions: 1. May have family members. Acquire Position: Birth right or the Imperial Commander is defeated and the Emperor accepts the challenger as the new Imperial Commander.
Imperial Pokelords (Think of them as the Elite four.) There are four Pokelords within the Empire. Each of these four Pokelords are in charge of one region. They are able to run that region however they wish unless the Imperial Commander says otherwise. Each of these Pokeloards, be they men or woman, are required to swear alliance with the Emperor before they are given the title. Some of these Pokelords required their ranks by being appointed by the Imperial Commander or born into the title. However, a few battled their way to the top and proved themselves worthy of the title.
Pokemon Levels:Max 70 Number of Positions: 4 Acquire Position: Defeat the current Pokelord after defeating the Imperial Knights of that Region.
Imperial Knights (Think of them as the Gym Leaders) Each Region was allowed to have three Imperial Knights within there land. The difference between the Imperial Knights and the Knights was there land, level of authority and there ability to advance the new Knights or Warriors. Each time an Imperial Knight is defeated in battle, the challenger will receive a medal of Honour. Those medals represent not only your strength but also your own rank. After defeating an Imperial Knight and receiving your medal, you are considered a ‘higher rank’ than that Imperial Knight. Your superior would then become the Imperial Knight who was about the one defeated. If the highest ranking Imperial knight has been defeated then the Pokelords become your new Superior and you are given a chance to take their positions.
Pokemon Levels: Range from 20 to 60 Number of Positions: 12
Elders: (Think of them as the Professors but without labs and technology) The elders of the Regions are often the ones who give children their first Pokemon at the age of ten. They have a tendency of traveling the Region they reside in twice a year. During these travels they visit each city, town and village to hand out the Pokemon to the children. If a child reaches the age of ten before the travels, they are able to travel to the Elder to receive the Pokemon, or wait until the Elder visits them. Most elders spend the rest of their time studying pokemon and their natures in ways that wont anger the Pokemon Gods.
Pokemon Levels: Range from 1 to 40 Number of Positions: 5
Knights and Warriors: (Think of them as Pokemon Trainers) Knights and Warriors are very similar, however the knight holds a bit more power over the Warriors. Most often the Knight is born into his title and has much more gold and land than the Warriors. Knights are also required to obey every order from the Empire without question while the Warriors are only required to go to battle when needed. When battling the Knight is often doing it in the name of his/her Kingdom and for honour. The Warriors on the other hand is most often battling to protect his/her home, family and friends. At times these Knights and Warriors will fight for nothing but themselves.
