Aureolin is a very slight boy, with light features to match his small frame. Though he is covered by a longsleeved hunter-green cloak and sash most of the time, Aureolin has a very slender frams, with visible curves at his hips and shoulders. His hair is a dark green, falling to about his waist when untied. He normally wears It in two separate bands, each tied together with brown leather-like strips. His eyes are a rich gray-green, giving the boy a very harmless look, though he can hold out well enough on his own. Aureolin holds a knotted staff made from the heartwood of a tree/

Aureolin's personality matches his appearance quite well. The forest-raised boy is actually very timid around people he doesn't know, having lived with family all his life. To outsiders of the forest, he seems very shy and quiet, easily taken advantage of. While he seems delicate, Aureolin would gladly throw a punch for the sake of the forest Pokemon.
Aureolin has a great love for the outdoors. Unless it is raining, he is usually found curled up amongst the tall grasses of a nearby meadow at night, sleeping under the stars with his Breloom. Aureolin has great respect for all living things, from a sprout to a person, and would never, ever, harm any on purpose.

General:
Aureolin was born into the poorer side of the population, though he never mind. Not one bit. The boy grew up in a close knit family, living in a small lean-to made under the roots of a great tree in the forest. His upbringing was anywhere between harsh and suitable for a child. He was raised eating only the fruits and plants of his homeland, never once eating mea tin his life. In the rainier months, their home leakes, and the winds were cold, but they all pulled through each year. Aureolin is the oldest child of his family, and while his parents were away, often looked after Maria and Vilio, showing them the forest pokemon and the natural area. Their home had no closed dorrs, and they were often visited by the forest pokemon. One, a small Shroomish, had been nearly caught by a fire pokemon trainer, and suffered serious burns. Aureolin nursed the pokemon back to health himself, and since then, the now-evolved Breloom has stayed by his side since.
And then disaster struck for the Jacques family. A terrible illness took Lilia and Vilio’s life, leaving a very young Aureolin to care for his younger siblings, and now a grieving father. With time, Aureolin helped keep their family together, often waking up to find his father, now wisened with age, crying softly in the middle of the night. There are nights he cries as well, just staring up at the sky, but never in front of Maria. He could never show any such sadness in front of his little sister.
Aureolin, now old enough to take responsibility for himself, has recently begun to venture further and further through the forest. He always returns by sundown, however, to make supper for his little sister and father. He is very attached to his homelands, but after being secluded from the outside world so long, it was hard to know what was going on. Curious as to what is really happening beyond his forest, Aureolin now finds himself hopelessly lost in the nearby towns…

When confronted with a situation he is afraid of, Aureolin is very timid. He has been known to faint out of fear at some points. Aureolin has a normally calm demeanor, however, and it is easy to tell when one is scaring him. Close to everything he lives around, the forest-raised boy is easily confused by the concept of pokeballs or money, even non-herbal medicines.
Aureolin is unsure on the subject of true love, however. He knows there is such things beyond the forest, but has only felt it's pull once. A trainer, just about as old as himself, had gotten lost in the forest. Aureolin was a bit hesitant to help a city-folk, but assisted the boy out of kindness. When they reached the edge of the forest, The trainer asked him if he wanted to battle. Horrified on the subject of hurting his Pokemon, Aureolin held his Breloom close and shook his head. The boy had smiled warmly at him. That smile made Aureolin feel... Odd. In a good way. He remembered heat in his cheeks as the boy left with a remark of 'Hm... You know, you're a cute one.' and a wink. Though he can remember the scene clear as day, Aureolin never mentioned it to anyone.
That one time made the forest-raised boy more and more curious about the cities and towns, though each time he'd gone into one, he was too frightened to stay. Loud noises, lots of people, battling, fighting, all scare the boy. He hates the idea of fighting with Pokemon, or hurting them. Even the pokeathalon seems a bit too showy to him.
